Presented by Andy Neal, Geologist ODNR Division of Geological Survey at the Historical and Genealogical Library - Pickaway County Historical Society, Circleville

Learn about the fascinating geology of Pickaway County and the Scioto River valley south of Columbus. Our presenter, Andy Nash, Geologist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological Survey will start with a general overview of the geology in the local area. A specialist in glacial geology, he will focus on many of the glacial features visible in today’s landscapes… More Info…



Come out to Canal Park's new and improved Canal Days on Saturday, October 27th from 11:00- 3:30 for food, ice cream, music, pumpkin painting, canal history and much, much, more!! This is a free event and will have activities for kids and adults alike! The first 50 to arrive will win a free t-shirt and pumpkin painters will have the chance to show off their skill by entering a contest to win a free prize, so come early and stay all day long! The park will also be open for fishing, and walking on the Towpath/ Pickaway Trail, so bring the whole family for a day of fun!
