Looking forward, the Park District has an exciting lineup of programs and camps scheduled for the summer. Three highly anticipated youth camps are set to kick off:

  • Experience Earth Camp: A comprehensive camp focusing on environmental education and outdoor adventures for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
  • Jr. Experience Earth Camp: Tailored for younger children, 1st and 2nd grades, this camp introduces basic concepts of nature and conservation in a fun, engaging manner.
  • Nature Navigators Camp: This new camp aims to deepen participants’ understanding of forestry and wildlife topics while learning about wayfinding.

We are excited to now have Meghan to lead these programs and are eager to provide high-quality nature education to our community. Meghan’s dedication and innovative approach have significantly contributed to the success and expansion of the district’s offerings.

The Park District is thrilled about the future and the many programs still to come. With a strong foundation and a clear vision, the district looks forward to continuing its mission of offering enriching and educational experiences to the community.
