School and Group Programs

How To Schedule A Program

Discover the exciting educational opportunities available through the Park District's group and school programs, led by our knowledgeable Naturalist, Meghan Ellis. We are committed to providing the youth of Pickaway County with top-tier conservation education programs both in the classroom and at our various parks. Our range of hands-on classroom sessions covers various conservation topics aligned with Ohio Academic Content Standards. Best of all, these programs are entirely free for any Pickaway County school or organization.

Each School presentation typically lasts about 40 minutes, tailored for a single class. With prior notice, we can accommodate combining multiple classes. We're dedicated to ensuring every grade level receives the program throughout the school day. Field trips to our parks can be tailored to fit desired schedules and themes.

Scheduling operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Reach out to Meghan at mellis@pickawaycountyohio.gov to register or inquire about our programs today!
