Canal Park’s playground construction is nearly complete! As of the beginning of May the majority of the playground equipment has been installed. the District is happy to share that both ziplines, the clatter bridge, three embankment slides, a spinner as well as various climbing playground pieces have been installed. Currently, the District is waiting for contractors to complete the installation of the climbing nets as well as tile to allow for better drainage. The last step will be to add mulch and then the playground will be ready for a grand opening. The District expects to have the playground completed and open early in the summer. Please note that the playground is not yet open and we ask that you remain out of the area for your safety.
