Nature Navigators Camp

Join us for a day of adventure and learning at our forestry-themed day camp! Campers will immerse themselves in the great outdoors, exploring nature trails, honing their forestry knowledge, and mastering wayfinding skills. Here’s what you can expect from the day:

Camp Schedule:

• Check-in: 8:30 am
• Activities: Throughout the day, campers will engage in hiking, forestry lessons, and wayfinding skill development.
• Treasure Hunt: Armed with newfound wayfinding skills, campers will embark on an exciting treasure hunt, where they’ll navigate the trails while learning about the diverse trees that populate the area.
• Wrap-up: The day will conclude with pickup at 4:30 pm.

What to Bring:

• Packed Lunch: Be sure to bring a nutritious lunch to fuel your adventure-packed day.
• Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress in layers and wear sturdy, comfortable shoes suitable for hiking. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen for sunny days, and rain gear for wet weather.

Important Notes:

• The capacity for this day camp is 15 campers and the Deadline to sign up is July 1st
• Once your camper is registered the camp coordinators will reach out through email with more details on camp and a detailed registration packet.
• Throughout the day, campers will be under the supervision of experienced instructors who will guide them through activities and ensure their safety.
• While having fun is a priority, safety is paramount. Campers will be instructed on proper trail etiquette and safety procedures before embarking on any outdoor activities.

To complete your registration you must purchase your ticket through Eventbrite and then use the link above to complete the registration form for your child. If you would prefer you can email these form to mellis@pickawaycountyohio.gov when or you can also pick up these forms in person at the Park District office at 16405 US 23, South Bloomfield, OH 43103 or the Soil and Water office at 110 Island Road Suite D Circleville, OH 43113.
