New Faces at The Pickaway County Park District

Meet Meghan, our New Education and Outreach Coordinator, and Wendi, our New Administration and Finance Manager!

We’re excited to introduce two fantastic additions to the Pickaway County Park District family: Meghan and Wendi!

Meet Meghan: Originally from Cincinnati, Meghan brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for nature to her role as Education and Outreach Coordinator. Inspired by her parents’ love for the outdoors, Meghan’s journey towards environmental advocacy began early on. With a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Biology from Ohio University, Meghan’s commitment to conservation and community led her to roles with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources before joining us. Don’t miss out on her upcoming spring programs!

Meet Wendi: With expertise in financial coordination and a commitment to community engagement, Wendi is set to play a crucial role in achieving our goals and fostering connections within our community. Her background in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, coupled with over 20 years of experience as a local small business owner, makes her a valuable addition to our team. As she steps into her new role, Wendi is eager to promote our mission of providing fun, healthy, and accessible green spaces for every citizen in our community.

Both Meghan and Wendi share a passion for exploring parks of all kinds – from local gems to state and national treasures. Meghan’s favorite park feature? The butterfly and pollinator gardens, adding beauty and biodiversity to our parks.

Join us in welcoming Meghan and Wendi to the Pickaway County Park District team! We’re thrilled to have them on board as we continue to serve and enrich our community through outdoor education and conservation efforts.
