In an exciting development for our community, the Park District is reaching out to you for your valuable input! We are thrilled to announce plans for the transformation of the 25-acre site adjacent to the Appalachia Ohio Alliance’s Genevieve Jones Preserve, formerly known as the Cooks Creek Golf Course. The District’s property is set to become the future Park Headquarters and Nature Center for the District, and is partnering with Appalachia Ohio Alliance to offer visitors with access to the remaining 300 acres and trails owned by Appalachia Ohio Alliance.
As we embark on this journey, we are seeking your creativity and insight to help us name this upcoming facility. Your suggestions will play a crucial role in shaping the identity of this new space that will serve as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
